This coming-of-age teen drama follows 16-year-old female rower Teagan (Miku Martineau) who becomes the coxswain of a dysfunctional all-boys rowing team at an elite East Coast Prep School. Teagan must navigate team drama, romance, warring rivals, and a complicated relationship with her mom as she tries to lead her rowing team to victory.
Written by Vivian Lin (Popularity Papers, SkyMed), Crew Girl was greenlit by Netflix in 2025 and is currently in production in Victoria, BC. The series stars Miku Martineau (Bet, Star Trek: Section 31), Jessica Paré (SEAL Team, Mad Men), Samuel Braun (The Marshmallow Experiment, Time Cut) Kyle Clark (The Baby-Sitters Club, Riverdale), and Thomas Cadrot (Scream, So Help me Todd). Crew Girl is being produced by Great Pacific Media. Lin serves as writer, executive producer and showrunner. Lindsay Macadam, Hillary Zwick Turner, Tony Chung, Lori Massini, and Jeff Norton (Geek Girl, Finding Her Edge) also serve as Executive Producers. The pilot episode is directed by Simon Barry (Bet, Warrior Nun)
